Vizz is part of the Cholinergic Agonists class and treats Presbyopia. Cholinergic agonists are used to treat dry mouth, glaucoma, and to cause constriction of the pupil. They work by increasing saliva production and by lowering pressure in the eye. Vizz is only available as a brand name drug.

Vuity (pilocarpine) is used to treat presbyopia. There are currently no generic alternatives for vuity. It may be covered by your Medicare or insurance plan, but some pharmacy coupons or cash prices could help offset the cost.

Alpha-2 agonists allow cholinergic agonists to work better and longer by reducing unnecessary muscle activity, which keeps the pupil from widening again. Yuvezzi is only available as a brand name drug.
