Common Side Effects

Calcium Polycarbophil serious side effects

Contact your healthcare provider immediately if you experience any of the following.

  • Choking: chest pain, vomiting, trouble swallowing or breathing
  • Possible serious gut problem: pain in the stomach area; bloating; blood when wiping; blood in stool (e.g., tar-like, black, red blood mixed in with the stool)
