Balcoltra (ethinyl estradiol/levonorgestrel/ferrous bisglycinate) is an oral contraceptive (birth control pill). This product combines two types of female hormones, an estrogen and a progestin. It is used to prevent ovulation and pregnancy. This drug is less popular than comparable drugs. There is currently no generic alternative for Balcoltra.
