What does Sotyktu do?

Sotyktu is a type of Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor called a tyrosine kinase 2 (TYK2) inhibitor. Sotyktu blocks the protein TYK2 in your body. By blocking this protein, Sotyktu lowers inflammation, which helps reduce symptoms of plaque psoriasis.
