Typical dosage for Activella
Activella tablets come in two different strengths:
- 1 mg of estradiol and 0.5 mg of norethindrone
- 0.5 mg of estradiol and 0.1 mg of norethindrone
The higher strength is approved to treat VMS, symptoms of vulvar and vaginal atrophy, and to prevent osteoporosis. The lower strength is approved to treat VMS and to prevent osteoporosis only. Your healthcare team will recommend a dose based on your condition.
- Adults: The typical dose is 1 tablet by mouth once daily.
