Meredith Hoffa is a senior health editor at GoodRx, where she leads journalists and clinicians covering various well-being topics, particularly in diet and nutrition.
She has worked for nearly 15 years as a journalist and editor across a wide range of topics in wellness, lifestyle, and pop culture. More recently, Hoffa has focused on health topics, with a particular emphasis on women’s reproductive health issues and those around mental health and families.
As managing editor of the media company What’s Up Moms, she launched the editorial arm of the brand where she oversaw development of customized week-by-week wellness series for new and expecting parents, and created a comprehensive suite of health condition guides and other health series. She has also served as the editorial specialist for a strategic marketing agency and helmed content and communications strategy for a large cultural institution in Los Angeles.
Hoffa has written for a variety of publications, and her essays have appeared in The New York Times and multiple anthologies, among other places. She has worked as a book consultant and also has a long history in front of the camera on various projects for national brands.
Outside work, her favorite activities are dancing (both in class and non) and cooking for friends and family.
Meredith holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT.
