Marcia Frellick has been a journalist for more than 35 years. She started her career as an editor and became a freelance healthcare writer in 2008. She has written for the Chicago Tribune, Science News, Medscape Medical News, and Nurse.com. She was an editor at the Chicago Sun-Times, the Cincinnati Enquirer, and the St. Cloud (Minnesota) Times.
Marcia is an active member of the Association for Healthcare Journalists (AHCJ), and she was also an adjunct editing instructor for her alma mater, Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. She prides herself on accuracy and taking a genuine interest in her sources.
Marcia received a bachelor's degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
