Maggie Aime, MSN, RN, brings health topics to life for readers at any stage of life. With over 25 years in healthcare and a passion for education, she creates content that informs, inspires, and empowers.
She draws on her rich experience across nursing specialties, including oncology, kidney transplant, cardiology, and pediatrics. Her background also includes case management, revenue management, medical coding roles, and working as a utilization review nurse consultant. She leverages her unique insights to help individuals navigate the U.S. healthcare system and avoid financial pitfalls.
Maggie is a member of the American Nurses Association, Florida Nurses Association, Association of Health Care Journalists, The Authors Guild, and the National Association of Black Journalists. She founded The Write RN, LLC to fulfill her calling to teach. She particularly enjoys illuminating topics related to disease prevention, health and wellness, and medical personal finance.
When not crafting the next great article, you might find Maggie savoring sunrise views at the beach, immersed in DIY projects, lost in a good book, or playing the piano. She also serves on the board of Hopeful Hearts 4 Haiti.
Maggie holds a Master of Science in nursing education from Capella University.
