Ways to save on Wixela Inhub

Here are six ways you can save on Wixela Inhub, whether or not you have insurance coverage.

1. Use a GoodRx coupon

With a free GoodRx coupon, you may be able to lower your out-of-pocket costs for your prescription. For example, you could pay as little as $56.66 for one 100 mcg/50 mcg Diskus inhaler at certain pharmacies.

Here’s how to get a coupon for Wixela Inhub:

  • Go to www.goodrx.com or download the GoodRx app on your phone.

  • Type “Wixela Inhub” into the search bar and select it from the dropdown menu.

  • Select the correct quantity and location.

  • Choose to receive your coupon by text or email, or print it out.

  • Show the coupon at the pharmacy when you pick up your Wixela Inhub prescription. To help prevent delays, present the coupon before you fill your prescription.

2. Try a copay savings card

If you have commercial insurance, you may be eligible for a manufacturer’s savings card for Wixela Inhub. With this card, you could pay as little as $10 a month for your prescription and up to $50 off each 30-day refill. You can use this offer for up to 12 monthly refills each year, with a savings limit of $600 per year.

3. Ask about the patient assistance program

The Viatris patient assistance program provides some medications at no cost, including Wixela Inhub, to people with financial need.

To qualify, you must:

  • Meet specific income requirements

  • Not have prescription medication coverage

  • Have a valid prescription from a licensed U.S. prescriber

4. Look for lower-cost alternatives

If you’re concerned about the cost of generic Wixela Inhub, ask your prescriber about alternatives that may better fit your budget. For example, GSK has announced a $35 per month price cap for eligible U.S. patients on its entire portfolio of asthma and COPD inhalers, including Advair Diskus. The company also offers a patient assistance program to help make medications more affordable.

5. Request a larger quantity

Depending on your health plan’s prescription benefits, a 90-day supply of Wixela Inhub might cost less than a 30-day supply. Ask your prescriber about a 90-day supply if it lowers your cost per inhaler.

6. Use your HSA or FSA funds

If you have a flexible spending account (FSA) or a health savings account (HSA), you can use tax-free money to pay for your Wixela Inhub prescription. Your FSA funds must be used by the end of the plan year. HSA funds roll over each year and can be used anytime.

The bottom line

Without insurance, a single 100 mcg/50 mcg Wixela Inhub inhaler can cost around $234.78. You may be able to save on your prescription by using a GoodRx coupon, a manufacturer’s savings card, or a patient assistance program. Consider asking your prescriber about more affordable options, or use your health savings account or flexible spending account funds to cover the cost. Comparing prices at different pharmacies can also help reduce your out-of-pocket costs.
