Typical dosage for Ursodiol
Capsules:

Dissolving of gallstones: Dose is based on body weight. Take 8-10 mg/kg/day in two or three divided doses.

Gallstone prevention: Take 300 mg by mouth twice a day (for a total of 600 mg per day).
Tablets:
- Primary biliary cirrhosis: Dose is based on body weight. Take 13-15 mg/kg/day in two or four divided doses with food.
