Nexobrid Side Effects

The following side effects may get better over time as your body gets used to the medication. Let your healthcare provider know immediately if you continue to experience these symptoms or if they worsen over time.

Common Side Effects

Adults:

  • Itching (15%)
  • Fever (12%)
  • Worsening of wound (9%)
  • Lower red blood cell count (6%)
  • Vomiting (5%)
  • Trouble sleeping (5%)

Children:

  • Itching (13%)
  • Fever (10%)
  • Vomiting (7%)

Less Common Side Effects

Adults:

  • Urinary tract infection
  • Fast heart rate
  • Rash
  • Infections
  • Bed sore
  • Scar
  • Bruises

Children:

  • Nausea
  • Constipation
  • Common cold symptoms
  • Rash
  • Infections

Nexobrid serious side effects

Contact your healthcare provider immediately if you experience any of the following.

  • Serious allergic reactions: hives, itchy skin, rash, facial swelling, or trouble breathing
