To prevent or reduce bleeds in people 6 years and older with:
- Hemophilia A without factor VIII inhibitors, or
- Hemophilia B without factor IX inhibitors
How Hympavzi (marstacimab) works
Hympavzi (marstacimab) is a tissue factor pathway inhibitor (TFPI) antagonist. It blocks a protein called TFPI, which normally slows down blood clotting.
By blocking TFPI, Hympavzi (marstacimab) helps your body make more thrombin, a protein that helps blood clot. This helps your blood clot more effectively and can reduce bleeding episodes in people with hemophilia.
