What is Granulex?
Granulex is a topical spray applied to the skin that's used to treat several types of skin damage such as sunburns, pressure sores, and open sores on your legs. Granulex is used to promote new skin growth and healing, increase blood flow to your damaged skin, remove dead skin, and relieve pain from skin damage.
Is Granulex still available?
No, Granulex has been discontinued and is no longer available in the United States. It's not clear why the medication was discontinued, but the manufacturer reported that it was due to "market conditions". It wasn't discontinued due to concerns for safety or efficacy.
Are there currently available medications that are used in place of Granulex?
