Typical dosage for Desloratadine
- Adults and children 12 years or older: The typical dose is 5 mg by mouth once daily.
Orally disintegrating tablet (ODT)
- Adults and children 12 years or older: The typical dose is 5 mg by mouth dissolved on the tongue once daily.
- Children 6 to 11 years old: The typical dose is 2.5 mg dissolved on the tongue once daily.
Your dose might differ if you have kidney or liver problems.
