On Wednesday, September 24, 2025, GoodRx employees across the country came together for the second annual GoodRx Gives Back Day, a company-wide volunteer initiative dedicated to supporting local communities. From coast to coast, as well as virtually, nearly half of the GoodRx workforce donated their time and energy to 14 nonprofit organizations, contributing over 600 hours of service and more than $40,000 in donations.

Los Angeles

At Central City Neighborhood Partners (CCNP), a comprehensive community services and resources organization in Downtown LA, volunteers revamped the organization’s outdoor space by installing over 40 flower pots, bringing warmth and vibrancy to the community. Inside, teams packed over 420 food bags and sorted 350 bags of clothing for families in need.

At A Sense of Home, volunteers supported victims of the recent LA fires by selecting and staging 330 household items to help furnish 3 family homes as part of their Disaster Relief Program.

Meanwhile, at Para Los Niños, employees hosted 4 interactive workshops on wellness and nutrition, engaging over 200 elementary school students during their health-education day. This initiative supported their goal of helping children, youth, and families thrive.

San Francisco

In the Bay Area, volunteers partnered with Family House San Francisco, an organization whose mission is to serve families with children facing serious medical conditions. Volunteers prepared snack and activity bags for families staying near the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. At Project Open Hand, GoodRx employees supported their mission to address food insecurity by packaging more than 1,200 meals for individuals facing hunger.

Orange County, CA

At the Southern California Ronald McDonald House, volunteers created and served over 100 snacks to support the house’s families with children receiving medical care.

New York City

In NYC, volunteers joined Citymeals on Wheels to deliver over 70 meals to older adults in NYC neighborhoods. Others supported Adaptive Design Association to create 50 customized easels and study stations for a local school serving students with disabilities.

Seattle

GoodRx employees joined By and By to clean up Alki Beach, removing litter and discarded materials, and even retrieving an electric scooter from the water — a true team effort to beautify public spaces and further By and By’s mission for a cleaner Alki Beach.

Chicago

In the Midwest, GoodRx volunteers at Cradles to Crayons helped support their mission to end children’s clothing insecurity by helping process clothing donations to benefit roughly 340 children in underserved Chicago communities.

Remote volunteering

Remote employees also got involved. With Lemontree, a nonprofit that makes it easy for people facing hunger to access food resources and services, volunteers helped locals identify nearby food pantries and use SNAP services in their neighborhoods. Through Be My Eyes, volunteers took part in 289 support calls, spending over 18 hours assisting blind or low-vision users and helped to carry out the organization’s goal to connect blind and low vision people with assistance.

California and New York GoodRx offices

Employees at the New York and Santa Monica office hubs partnered with Project Sunshine, assembling nearly 1,000 Puppet Pal Kits. These kits, designed to offer creative expression for preschool and pediatric patients, further Project Sunshine’s mission to deliver the healing power of play to children with medical needs.

At the GoodRx offices, lunches served to our teams in New York, Seattle, and San Francisco were catered by local nonprofit caterers and community-based restaurants, giving an additional $4,400 to these businesses who support the local community. These vendors included: City Beet Kitchens, which partners with Project Renewal to offer employment and training for individuals experiencing homelessness; Cactus, a restaurant that gives back to local schools, hospitals, and food banks in Seattle through fundraising and access to healthy affordable meals; and La Cocina, which empowers people of color and immigrant entrepreneurs by providing commercial kitchen space and business development resources.

In addition, a total of 142 meals were donated to Everytable’s Pay it Forward program — one for every GoodRx volunteer in Orange County and Santa Monica — helping carry out their mission to make nutritious meals accessible to everyone.

GoodRx is proud of the meaningful contributions our team made and the connections they strengthened in the communities where we live and work. Whether assembling craft and activity kits for children, preparing meals, or revitalizing community spaces, our employees showed up with passion and purpose. This day was a tangible reflection of GoodRx’s mission, as the team broke down barriers to healthcare and championed health equity while building lasting community partnerships that support those most in need.
