Pupil Dilation

Pupil dilation occurs when the pupil of the eye expands. This can occur in low light settings, when taking drugs, or with trauma. Pupil dilation can also be done at a physician's office.

Common drug classes used for pupil dilation are alpha agonists, anticholinergic / alpha agonist combinations, cholinergic agonists, and NSAIDs.
