In this episode of Did You Know?, Preeti Parikh, MD, debunks a common winter myth. While many people believe you can catch a cold by going outside without a hat, this is actually not the case. The truth is that we catch colds in the winter from being inside more often than other times of the year, and come into close contact with people who are sick.
