Experience
Christina Aungst, PharmD, MWC is a senior pharmacy editor for GoodRx. She began writing for GoodRx Health in 2019.
Before her position with GoodRx Health, she worked full time for CVS Health as a community pharmacist. She served as both a staff pharmacist and a pharmacy manager during this time. As a certified immunizer, she set up and ran multiple vaccination clinics in her community.
Christina’s experience with medical writing began in 2014, when she helped develop reader-friendly drug information for Iodine Inc. She continued writing for Iodine until their merger with GoodRx in 2018. From 2015 to 2021, she was a content editor for The Digital Apothecary, a website focused on digital health news and innovations.
Christina is a pharmacy preceptor for Wilkes University, mentoring pharmacy students during their final year before graduation. She’s also an active member of the American Medical Writers Association.
Education
Christina received her doctor of pharmacy (PharmD) degree in 2011 from Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. She was an active member of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) and Lambda Kappa Sigma, a professional fraternity that aims to elevate women in the pharmacy profession.
As a student, she presented a professional poster at the 45th Midyear Clinical Meeting of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) in 2010. This abstract would go on to be presented again, during the 112th Annual Meeting of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) in 2011, and then subsequently published in the American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education.
In 2026, Christina received her Medical Writer Certified (MWC) credential from the American Medical Writers Association.
