Patients often feel embarrassed for not understanding certain medical topics, but it shouldn't be that way. Even for us in the healthcare profession, with all our training, it can sometimes be challenging. Everyone deserves to understand what is going on with their health, and it is our duty as healthcare professionals to provide patients with what they need to be informed and feel empowered in their own healthcare journeys
