Stacy Lawrence is the Editor in Chief at GoodRx. This is a continuation of her almost 20-year effort to make the science, business, and practice of healthcare more intelligible and accessible to everyone. She has worked for industry-focused outlets including Elsevier, FierceBiotech, BioCentury, BioWorld, and the Timmerman Report, and she has contributed to several major publications including Nature Biotechnology, MIT Technology Review, Wired, New Scientist, and more.

Stacy also served as a consultant with Roche to improve internal communications regarding the healthcare company’s research and development pipeline. She holds a master’s degree in sociology from the University of California at Berkeley, where as a graduate student she helped teach statistics and assess the ramifications of genetic information for sickle cell patients and their families. Stacy received her undergraduate education at New York University. She originally hails from a small farm just outside of Oxford, Ohio.
