Rachel Feaster has over 10 years of professional experience in ambulatory, inpatient, pharmacogenomics, and oncology care. She is board certified in oncology and pharmacotherapy. As an oncology pharmacist, she helps patients navigate some of the most difficult times of their lives by providing education, empathy, and a high level of evidence-based care.
Rachel firmly believes that movement is medicine and has a special interest in wellness, fitness, and preventive/integrative medicine. She is a certified yoga instructor with additional certifications in restorative and oncology yoga.
Rachel is also a freelance medical writer who has experience writing continuing medical education grants, drug interaction content, and patient-friendly medication and health articles. She is a member of the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA). At her current organization, she worked with an interdisciplinary integrative medicine team to create a guideline for the safe use of dietary supplements and herbal products during oncology treatment.
Rachel received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. After graduating, she completed a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at the Veterans Affairs Puget Sound Healthcare System in Seattle.
