Experience

Cara Rosenbloom, RD, has been a registered dietitian for 22 years. She began her career working as a dietitian at Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). 

In 2007, she started Words To Eat By, a nutrition communications company that offers writing, editing, recipe development, and presentations. She is a freelance writer at The Washington Post, Allrecipes, Today's Parent, and many other magazines and websites. She is also the author of two books: Nourish: Whole Food Recipes Featuring Seeds, Nuts and Beans, which won the Taste Canada Award for the best healthy cookbook in 2017, andFood to Grow On, a guidebook to childhood nutrition that launched as the No.1 bestselling book in Amazon's parenting category.  

Cara is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Dietitians of Canada, and the College of Dietitians of Ontario. She has won the Dietitian Innovator of the Year award (2017) from Dietitians of Canada and the Recipe of the Year (2016) from Food & Nutrition Magazine. 

Education

Cara has a BA in literature from Western University and a BASc in food and nutrition from Toronto Metropolitan University.
