Experience
Alexandria Nyembwe, PhD, MBA, RN, has been a registered nurse since 2017. She has a background in cardiac care and has clinic experience as a nurse, serving people experiencing housing instability.
Nyembwe is also a nurse scientist, with a research interest in heart disease risk and prevention. Currently, she’s a postdoctoral research fellow and T32 arteriosclerosis fellow at Columbia University. She’s the founder of a content writing business, Authored by AJP, LLC.
Education
Nyembwe holds a doctorate in nursing from the University of California, Irvine, and a master’s in nursing from Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science.
Prior to becoming a nurse, she obtained a master’s in business administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix and a bachelor’s in human development and family studies from the University of Nevada, Reno.
