Xeglyze (abametapir) is a metalloproteinase inhibitor. It blocks a protein called metalloproteinase in lice that's important for their survival and for the development of lice eggs.

Typical dosage for Xeglyze (abametapir)

Shake your bottle of Xeglyze (abametapir) well before use.

The typical dosing is to apply enough Xeglyze (abametapir) to dry hair so that your hair and scalp is completely coated by the lotion (up to a full bottle). Leave the lotion on your head for 10 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water.
