Common Side Effects
- Sore throat (up to 40%)
- Fever (up to 32%)
- Stuffy nose (up to 30%)
- Chest pain (up to 25%)
- Change in voice (up to 18%)
Less Common Side Effects
- Pink eye
- Rash
- Indigestion
- Difficulty breathing

Along with its needed effects, a medicine may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

Body aches or pain
congestion
dryness or soreness of the throat
hoarseness
tender, swollen glands in the neck
trouble breathing
trouble swallowing
voice changes

Also, your health care professional may be able to tell you about ways to prevent or reduce some of these side effects.
