When you are lacking sleep, you’ll try almost anything to get some rest. Melatonin is a hormone that helps regulate your sleep-wake cycle. It also comes in the form of a supplement, but it can come with some side effects. Luckily, these side effects are usually easy to manage.

If you are having trouble treating your side effects, it may be time to lower your dosage or even talk with your doctor to find different alternatives.
