Typical dosage for Histex-Dm
Each teaspoonful (5 mL) of Histex-Dm contains 20 mg of dextromethorphan, 10 mg of phenylephrine, and 2.5 mg of triprolidine.
- Age 12 years and older: The typical dose is 1 teaspoonful (5 mL) by mouth every 4 hours when you're having symptoms. Don't take more than 4 teaspoonfuls (20 mL) in a 24-hour period.
