What is Gelsyn-3?
What should I tell my doctor?
They need to know if you have any of these conditions:
- Bleeding problems
- Infection in or around the knee
- Skin conditions around the knee
- Swelling around the knee
- An unusual or allergic reaction to sodium hyaluronate, other medications, foods, dyes, or preservatives
- Pregnant or trying to get pregnant
- Breastfeeding
How should I use this drug?
This medication is injected into the knee joint. It is given by your care team in a hospital or clinic setting.
Talk to your care team about the use of this medication in children. Special care may be needed.
What if I miss a dose?
This does not apply.
Where should I store this drug?
This medication is given in a hospital or clinic. It will not be stored at home.
