What Is Ringworm?

Ringworm is a fungal skin infection. Symptoms include itchy, red, scaly, and dry skin. The rash is usually ring-shaped.

Common drug classes used to treat ringworm are allylamine antifungals, azole antifungals, azole antifungal / corticosteroid combinations, quinolone antibiotic / corticosteroid combinations, corticosteroids, hydroxypyridone antifungals, and tubulin inhibitors.
