Symptoms for women include: irregularities in menstruation, infertility, breast discharge, and mood change. Symptoms for men include: erectile dysfunction and decrease in libido.
Treatment for high prolactin levels includes taking medication. A common drug class used to treat high prolactin is the ergot derivatives drug class.
