When you think of cancer treatment, you probably think of chemotherapy. It’s the original cancer fighter, and it’s still a mainstay of treatment for many types of cancers. While newer cancer treatments have been introduced in the past couple of decades, chemo is still often used in conjunction with those newer treatments to boost their effectiveness.
