Retinol can be a great skincare ingredient for signs of aging. However, retinol can negatively affect your skin if you use too much of it. It can also be drying when paired with certain products.

Another good tip is to simplify your skincare routine and focus on products that hydrate your skin. Finally, don’t forget to apply your sunscreen — retinol makes your skin more sensitive to the sun!
