DPP-1 Inhibitors

Brinsupri is part of the DPP-1 Inhibitors class and treats Non-Cystic Fibrosis Bronchiectasis. DPP-1 Inhibitors are used to treat inflammatory diseases caused by excessive neutrophil activity, including non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis. They work by binding to the DPP-1 enzyme and obstructing its activity, which reduces the activity of neutrophils. Brinsupri is only available as a brand name drug.
