Valerie Emuakhagbon, MD, is a board-certified colorectal surgeon. A native of Dallas, Texas, she completed the six-year BA/MD program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She went on to the University of Louisville for her general surgery training and did her colorectal surgery fellowship at the University of South Florida.

Dr. Emuakhagbon aims to decrease health disparities by providing quality care. She is passionate about educating the next generation of surgeons. When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family.
