Tracy Asamoah, MD, is a child and adolescent psychiatrist, writer, and physician coach in private practice in Austin, Texas. She completed medical school at the University of California, San Francisco, and both her general psychiatry residency and child and adolescent fellowship at the David Geffen UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Asamoah has also been on faculty at both the University of New Mexico School Medicine and the Texas A&M School of Medicine.

Dr. Asamoah has contributed to book chapters on various topics in mental health, has written mental health-related articles, and has been a regular contributor to Psychology Today and Psychotherapy.net.
