Research experience
Taylor McLay has close to 8 years experience between CVS, Rite Aid and Walmart Pharmacy as both a pharmacy technician and a pharmacy intern. In addition to his degree, McLay is working towards a medicinal cannabis certificate, which requires additional cannabis and hemp courses, as well as research. He has also earned research certification from the National Institutes of Health.
As a student, he has been active in his community. He’s provided tutoring services at Wilkes-Barre YMCA as well as preparing backpacks filled with essentials for people in need in the same area. McLAy was recognized for his work to assist fellow students at Wilkes University with the Colonels Helping Colonels award.
McLay received an Associate of Arts degree from Lackawanna College in 2012. From there, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Keystone College in 2016. Currently, he is pursuing his Doctor of Pharmacy from Wilkes University.
