Steve Meadows, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with advanced fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery. He has been practicing orthopedic surgery for 30 years.
Dr. Meadows has been on the staff of Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach, Florida for 27 years and formerly served as chief of surgery. He also served as clinical affiliate assistant professor of surgery at Florida Atlantic University Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine, and he has been physician partner at South Palm Orthopedics for 27 years.
He has been a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand for his entire career. Until its sale, he was also the chief medical officer of iHealthspot, a company that created websites for medical professionals. He was responsible for leading the creation of a medical education library for patients.
Dr. Meadows has also published several articles in orthopedic surgery and has presented at professional conferences and numerous public educational events.
Dr. Meadows received his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopedic Institute and his fellowship in hand surgery at Thomas Jefferson University.
