Dr. Stella Safo is a board-certified HIV primary care physician, public health advocate, and the founder of Just Equity for Health, a healthcare improvement company that uses advocacy, education, and care-model design to ensure equitable care across all sectors of medicine. Dr. Safo has experience in clinical transformation and healthcare redesign in academic and corporate healthcare settings. In addition to her commitment to population health and care-model design, Dr. Safo is dedicated to equity within healthcare.
Education
Dr. Safo received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School, her master's in public health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and her bachelor's degree in History of Science and African American Studies from Harvard University. She completed her fellowship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Montefiore Health System.
