Shira Myrow, LMFT, MA, is a mindfulness-based psychotherapist and relationship expert who is deeply committed to helping people transform past traumas and dysfunctional relationships into healthier futures. With advanced training in both the Gottman Method and emotionally focused therapy, Shira’s clinical work focuses on helping couples and individuals learn how to work with their emotions, reduce conflict, and navigate healthy relationships. Shira has a special focus on treating attachment disorders in adult children of mentally ill parents.
Shira is also a writer, educator, and speaker. She has been a regular contributor at major publications such as Goop, Medium, and MindBodyGreen. She was a TEDx speaker, has presented at the TEDWomen conference, and has been featured in multiple interviews and podcasts. Shira currently hosts a podcast for parents striving to raise emotionally intelligent teens called “Raising Gen Z.”
