Experience
Shane McCarthy, DO, practices full-spectrum family medicine and is board certified through the American Board of Family Medicine. She has over 20 years of experience. Through her work as a family medicine physician, she has served as physician director for a community health center urgent care and in an employee health clinic.
She was chosen by her physician peers as a Colorado Springs Top Doctor in 2020 for Colorado Springs Magazine. In the spring of 2021, she authored “How to Travel Safely in a Post-Pandemic World, A Physician’s Guide,” for International Living magazine.

Education
Dr. McCarthy earned her doctor of osteopathy degree at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. She completed her training in family medicine at the Southern Colorado Family Medicine residency program in Pueblo, Colorado.
