Nidhi Gandhi-Patel, PharmD, is a licensed pharmacist in Illinois. She has worked in the pharmacy profession for more than 6 years and currently is the interim Co-Director of the AACP Transformation Center at the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP).
In addition to this, she recently became a published author of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) book, “The Pharmacist Career Journey: Planning for Career Development, Progression, and Maximization”. She also has several articles published in academic journals, such as the American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education and Journal of the American Pharmacists Association.
She also serves as an APhA New Practitioner Mentor for Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, where she serves as a mentor for pharmacy students and provides guidance on their postgraduate journey. Nidhi is an active member of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy and American Society of Association Executives.
Nidhi received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Wingate University School of Pharmacy. Previously, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from North Carolina State University.
After pharmacy school, she completed a one-year residency in community pharmacy practice. After that, she completed a two-year fellowship in association management.
