Experience

Leslie Hanna, MA, is an award-winning content strategist and writer specializing in health and medicine. She has written extensively on HIV/AIDS and hepatitis and worked across healthcare sectors, including public health and biopharmaceuticals. Her experience includes several years of strategic and editorial project management as Contenteditor in chief for San Francisco AIDS Foundation’s treatment publications and of medical communications for InterMune (now Roche). She is also a certified mindful meditation coach.

She is currently on the board of directors of the International Association of Business Communicators and previously served on national clinical trial advisory boards, helping drive equitable and top-quality clinical research.

Education

Leslie has a bachelor’s degree in English literature from the University of Notre Dame and a master’s degree in communication science disorders from the University of Cincinnati.
