Kristina D. Carter, PharmD, MBA, MHA, has over 25 years of experience working in healthcare. She is registered as a licensed pharmacist in Georgia, Indiana, and Tennessee. She currently works as a managed care pharmacist and is responsible for quality performance and education for a prior authorization pharmacist team. In the past, she’s worked in several different pharmacy environments, including community, corporate, hospital, and outpatient medical clinic pharmacies. Kristina recently earned her certification as a prior authorization specialist from the Accreditation Council for Medical Affairs (ACMA).
Outside of the pharmacy world, Kristina is a certified health coach and group fitness instructor, senior fitness specialist, and weight management specialist through the American Council on Exercise (ACE).
Kristina D. Carter earned her doctor of pharmacy degree from Xavier University College of Pharmacy in New Orleans. She received her Masters of Business Administration and Masters of Health Administration from Georgia State University, J. Mack Robinson College of Business, in Atlanta.
