Joshua Berman, MD, is a Psychiatrist and Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the Columbia University Medical Center. He's directed the Program in Experimental Brain Stimulation in the Division of Experimental Therapeutics and runs the day-to-day operations of the electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) services in Inpatient and Continuation ECT at New York-Presbyterian Hospital since 2011. He completed his psychiatry residencies at Columbia University Medical Center and New York State Psychiatric Institute, as well as research fellowships there in Affective Disorders and Substance Abuse.
Dr. Berman received his bachelor's degree from Yale University and his medical degree and PhD from the Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine.
