Jorge Gomez, MD, is a Hematologist and Oncologist at Mount Sinai Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He is also the Medical Director of Mount Sinai’s World Trade Center Oncology Clinic, serving patients with cancer potentially caused by the attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001.
Dr. Gomez received his medical degree from Universidad de Caldas in Manizales, Colombia. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital and his Fellowship in Hematology & Oncology
