Jennifer Rainey Marquez is the senior director of content strategy at GoodRx. Prior to joining GoodRx, she spent two decades as a magazine journalist covering a range of health and wellness topics. She was previously the executive editor of Atlanta magazine, deputy editor of Parade magazine, and health editor at O: The Oprah magazine and Women’s Health magazine.
She also spent 5 years in higher education as the communications director for scientific research at Georgia State University, a minority-serving institution and the largest university in Georgia. There, her work earned five awards from the Center for Advancement and Support of Education, a global organization dedicated to championing education to transform lives and society.
She is a member of the Association of Health Care Journalists.
Jennifer holds a journalism degree from the University of Georgia's Grady College of Journalism.
