Experience

Gillian Goddard is an endocrinologist and an adjunct assistant professor of medicine at New York University (NYU) Grossman School of Medicine. She has more than 15 years of clinical experience and a particular expertise in endocrine diseases affecting women. Goddard is the author of the popular The Savvy Patient newsletter about women’s hormonal health and the book “The Hormone Loop.” Her work has been featured on Good Morning America, in the New York Times, and at Emily Oster’s ParentData.

Education

Goddard attended the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Telecommunication at Arizona State University, as well as Columbia University and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital. She completed her post-doctoral training at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She’s board certified in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism.
