Experience
Ferras Bashqoy, PharmD, BCCCP, BCPPS, is a clinical pharmacotherapy specialist in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital in NYC. He enjoys working with preterm newborns, as they are small but mighty.
Ferras serves as a preceptor for postgraduate pharmacy residents at NYU and is involved with research. Additionally, he serves as co-chair of the Pediatric P&T Committee, which assists with safe medication use in the hospital. Ferras is also a member of the Pediatric Pharmacy Association.
Education
Ferras received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Colorado while working as a pharmacy intern at Children’s Hospital Colorado. He completed his first-year postgraduate residency at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital and second-year postgraduate residency at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. He is board certified in pediatrics and critical care.
