Experience

Donna Kim, MS, RD, CDCES, CNSC, is a registered clinical dietitian and nutrition writer based in Pasadena, CA, who has 10 years of experience in her field. She is a certified nutrition support clinician (CNSC), accredited by the National Board of Nutrition Support Certification, an independent credentialing board established by the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition. She is also a certified diabetes care and education specialist (CDCES), accredited by the Certification Board for Diabetes Care and Education. 

Donna’s primary role as a clinical dietitian is to design nutrition programs to improve or maintain the health of her patients, taking into account their preferences and budgets. She counsels patients on nutrition issues and healthy eating habits and speaks to groups about diet, nutrition, and the relationship between healthy eating and preventing or managing diseases. Outside of work, she is a dedicated coffee drinker and reader and a temporarily retired world traveler. 

Education

Donna is a graduate of Boston University and holds a Master of Nutritional Science degree from Bastyr University. She completed the prestigious 50-week NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Dietetic Internship.
