Danielle Trief, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and associate professor at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), the Cornea Society, Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO), and the American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery (ASCRS). She also has a clinic for treating pediatric corneal diseases. She also was an ophthalmology resident at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts Eye and Ear infirmary and a cornea and refractive surgery fellow at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.
Dr. Trief received her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, in the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, her master's of neuroscience with honors from Oxford University, and her bachelor's degree from University of Pennsylvania Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
